About who needs care: My mother is 89 and full of life but has very low vision due to macular degeneration. We are looking for someone to come in for one hour, 1-2 afternoons a week. My mother does not need any help per se; we are looking for someone with a pleasant personality and demeanor to visit and talk with her to break up her day. About the care needs: Outgoing, pleasant, reliable. There is no specific care that she needs. Just a willing ear and someone who likes to engage. Services needed include: companionship.
