About who needs care: My 93-year-old father lives in a separate apartment attached to the home where me and my husband live. My 89 yr old mother lives with him. They are both bright and intelligent people; both artists. Neither has dementia. My father is ambulatory. My mother is losing her hearing and uses a walker. They need meal prep, housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, medication pick-up, occasional rides to appointments, help with bathing. Both are in relatively good health. My father has been looking after my mother, taking care of all her needs and it has become too much for him. He is still driving at this point but finds himself tiring quickly. About the care needs: My parents are kind, nurturing people who enjoy meeting new people of all kinds. They've both had careers in the art industry. They love animals. They are outgoing and enjoy sharing stories. They would enjoy someone who's not adverse to sharing a little about themselves as they like to connect. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
