Weekend Special Needs Care For A Young Man In South Hadley

We are seeking a part time occasional in home care provider (Personal Care Attendant (PCA)) for a sweet young man (19) with autism and developmental disabilities. We prefer someone with experience as a Special Needs teacher, OT, SLP, para, ABA therapist, or similar. This job can be very flexible and will include 3-4 hours on weekend days, either Saturdays or Sundays, sometimes both, 2 to 4 weekends per month. Additional occasional evenings possible. Care concerns are: Companionship, Help Staying Physically Active, Hygiene help, Light Meal Preparation, and medication. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion who is willing to engage him in conversation, activities, and time outdoors. Must be comfortable with dogs (1 Black Lab) and have reliable transportation. We are a relaxed and friendly family with one other school age child.
