Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Somerville

We need hands-on care to take care of our mother, who experience a stroke. We are looking for assistance with dressing/toileting/bathing, light housekeeping/meal prep, practicing PT and occupational therapy exercises daily, as well as transportation to her therapy appointments a couple of times weekly. She currently mostly uses a wheelchair, and needs some assistance with transfers and getting around. We are looking for someone who is engaging, patient, and encouraging as she works to regain her independence with dignity and to re-engage with hobbies and valued activities, such as cooking, enjoying music (folk, classic, etc), visiting art museums, and reading. We prefer a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets.
