Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Newtonville

About who needs care: My mother has mild Alzheimer's dementia and was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian cancer, which we are not treating. As the tumors grow they are pressing on her bladder causing occasional urinary incontinence. She is high functioning, but no longer uses the stove or drives, so she needs someone to make lunch and dinner for her, and to drive to occasional appointments. She needs help in the shower as well. She is extremely sweet- everyone loves her, including her current caregiver who can only come 5 days per week and occasionally needs days off. My mother has been spending weekends by herself (my brother, who lives in MA, tries to schedule a visit on weekends), but it is time to get help on weekends now, and we ideally would like someone on Thursdays as well. Eventually she will need overnights, but that is months away. Can you help? About the care needs: My mother does best with someone who is outgoing! She loves to take walks, go to lunch or museums. She loves working on puzzles. She is Jewish and would love a Jewish caregiver, but our current caregiver is not Jewish and they love each other very much! She needs someone who drives, can cook basic things for lunch and dinner, and she needs help in the shower and doing laundry. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
