About the job
Seeking a reliable, competent, experienced, engaging, and gentle caregiver with good communication skills and personality to care for my mom. She is receiving PT and OT services at home after a fall and fractured right arm. She is home from rehab for 3 weeks and is using a Spryte sit-to-stand lift from transfers. The position requires moderate physical assistance. Mom is on continuous oxygen. Having moderate cognitive issues, consistency, and patience are necessary. Following our busy daily schedule with personal care, meal prep, and PT exercises is required. Duties include engaging in interactive card games, Bingo, memory games, and jigsaw puzzles. Mom does not watch television. The right candidate will be a non-smoker and comfortable with a cat. Weekend hours are an option.
