Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Natick

About who needs care: Ann is highly functioning. Has arthritis pain and uses cane to walk. Some balance issues. She is cognitively aware though we have noticed some confusion, usually related to time of day. She has anxiety and, until now, has not wanted people in her home. Eg- she has never had a cleaning service. We feel she is too unstable to do basic housekeeping. She also needs a ride to church on Sundays and would like to go on outings to stores like Macy's and the local grocery store. We visit at least 4 times per week to help with groceries, mail, trash, hair appointment. About the care needs: Ann is most comfortable in her church- orthodox christians, eastern european/meditaranian descent. (Romania, Albania, Greece, Slavic countries) This is a tall order, of course, but you asked! We need a patient person who is not easily upset as Ann can be verbally insensitive, unintentionally offending. However, she was married for 61 years, is devoted to her sons, grandsons and church community. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
