About the job
Looking for help for my 79-year-old mom 1-3 aft./early eve. weekly. She is wheelchair-bound and significantly mobility-challenged due to Parkinson's Disease and many osteo-arthritic surgeries. Need someone who lives close in Mashpee (preferably in Mashpee, Sandwich or Cotuit). Caregiver needs to have some flexibility schedule-wise, speak fluent English, and have a wonderful caring, patient demeanor & a good sense of humor. This caregiver may occasionally also help my almost 82-year-old dad, but predominantly the focus is my mom as she is getting too much for him:). Strong preference for someone with home health-care experience and/or nursing, and in particular working with Parkinson's Disease & mobility challenged elders. p. s. I posted this ad a few months ago, but we weren't ready to move forward. Now we are.
