Companion Care Needed For My Loved One In Marlborough

About who needs care: My brother Clint is mildly disabled and has not worked in 10 years. He lives alone in his condo, and he gets around by using , as he does not have a car. Sometimes he needs help when he can't figure out his phone... so someone who can help him with his iphone is needed. He loses his phone sometimes and we are working on a solution for that. I manage his finances and pay all his bills for him. I live in California and he has no other help in MA. I need someone to come by maybe as little as 2 times a month for now to just help him with things. Items on my list are clothes shopping. Maybe cook a couple of meals or take him grocery shopping or to a doctors appointment or to run him to the store to purchase items that he might need a little help with. I don't think he is eating well. I have people that come in and clean twice a month.. so cleaning is not needed, but general help with just about anything that comes up is what I'm looking for. He lives on the 2nd floor, no elevator... so being able to carry items up 2 flights of stairs is important. I'll be visiting him in about 2 weeks from January 24th - 26th and I would like to meet with someone during that time. About the care needs: extremely patient and able to be persistent and communicate well with someone who is not a great communicator. Clint just needs a caring person who is willing to help him the best they can, nothing special required, except compassion. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
