About who needs care: Jim is traumatically brain-injured. He is very personable, but can get frustrated which I think is secondary to knee pain. He will have surgery for this in a few months He is independent with toileting, eats by himself, but I have to bathe him, cook his food and take him to all doctor's appts. I have no one to help me with this. He cannot drive as he has no peripheral vision. He was a great carpenter and would love to engage in SOME activities . As it is now, he shovels snow, rakes the yard and empties the dishwasher. But, he has no activities available in which to participate and develop some friendships. I feel very guilty that I cannot provide this for him, I also work, so this is a trying situation. About the care needs: Jim has a great sense of humor. He is loved by many people in town. When he is not in pain, he walks into town where many call him the "mayor of Lee" Someone who can help him deal with frustration would be a good fit. Humor helps him when he is frustrated. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
