Seeking hands-on care for my father-in-law, 85 and with dementia, though he's still very verbal and quite friendly and talkative. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. Some light tidying up is involved. Some help needed with bathing and toileting--a helping hand to make sure no falls, etc. Help preparing meals. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets (a single housecat). He lives with his wife, also 85, who is in better shape and more active. Wednesdays and Saturdays day and overnight, relieved the subsequent mornings. Occasional Sunday day would be helpful.
