About the job
Mom has mild/moderate dementia. She manages most ADL's except meal prep. Currently in assisted living but desperately wants to be at home. I don't know for sure that we will proceed with this as I'm concerned about reliability and don't live in the area. My brother does but he has his hands full. I think we need someone 2-3 hours/3 days a week for meal prep, errands, light housekeeping, and companionship. 100% willing to negotiate pay for the right and reliable person. Schedule also negotiable. My mom can be very funny and caring; she can also be snarky and is often sad/lonely. She's been through a lot and is a strong woman. She is a picky eater, and likes simple meals (meat & potatoes). She barely eats during the day, so dinner is most important.
