My father is 64 and suffers from early onset dementia. He has a very gentle temperament, but cognitively struggles with memory and communication. He recently moved into assisted living (The Enclave of Franklin), and he is struggling with boredom. At his previous home, he was able to walk around town and entertain himself without a car. His new location leaves him stuck inside. We would love to find someone (ideally a male companion) to get him out of the building and keep him company. In the warm months, he loves going for walks. In the cold months it would probably just mean driving around, picking up some coffee, running some "errands", etc. The primary goal is just companionship and a reason for him to leave the "house".
