We are looking for companion care for my mother in her 80s who has the beginning stages of dementia. She is very friendly but sometimes has a hard time speaking and forming her words. Medication management is required. Medication is pre-packaged and will need to be given with breakfast. Some light tidying up is involved. Personal care required, including feeding and possible minor assistance helping out her regular HHA. She does not walk right now and uses a Hoya lift (we can provide training on this as it is very easy to use). We're looking for some help preparing healthy meals for her and assisting her with eating and drinking. We're looking for someone to provide companionship and just spend time talking to her. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
