About the job
Man in 80s w/ cognitive & mobility issues. Loves animals & outdoors. Likes to talk, nds friend. Looking for someone w/ strong caregiving skills & ability to assist. He's ambulatory w/close supervision & assistance. Need 1-2 hrs most mornings to walk him to his barn, do therapy exercises. Flexible times and days. Very Occasional bedtime help, or help out of bed in morning. Occasionally sit during afternoon for few hrs - maybe 1-2 times monthly. We can divide job between a few people as needed. *Caregiver must be male - no exceptions - it's a personal comfort issue. We cannot respond to any female applicants, we are sorry!* Must love animals & the outdoors. Must be patient & firm, & authentic. Must be able to physically help him rise/sit when needed. Must be excellent listener & encourage talking, drinking, and exercise.
