About who needs care: Difficulty walking due to swelling in his legs; he has been to numerous doctors who have been unable to find a cause. Lunch/Dinner prep Light cleaning,; hoping to get a weekly service to handle cleaning just need someone keep areas neat for him. I am hoping to be able to get someone in there to help with daily tasks as needed. To get him setup for the day/night so minimal effort is needed on his part. Some who will make sure he showers Hobbies = television & his dog About the care needs: This is new to me so I really do not know. My dad is on a fixed income and lives on his own in a one floor home. He does not drive and has difficulty walking due to swollen legs which doctor's do not know the cause. I am hoping to start with a Home Health Aide if additional care is needed my sister and I will reevaluate but he is determined to remain in the house. He is 82 years old and needs help with lunch & dinner, possible prep meals if hours are not during time period. Maybe through a load of laundry in, light cleaning. I am hoping to be able to get a weekly cleaning service to handle majority of the cleaning. Basically I am hoping to find someone to come in a couple of hours a day that can get him setup for the day/night, be there when he baths just in case and get his meals prepped for lunch/dinner. Groceries are delivered and I would need someone to maintain a list of what is needed so I can order. Unfortunately my time is very limited due to work which requires me to be on-call in addition I am navigating medical issues with my husband. I do not know if you provide this type of care, so feel free to let me know if this is not what your agency does. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
