Has a good appetite, loves snacks and good food. Likes having family around but understands thats not always possible day to day. These days just takes it easy. Walks with walker so hard to go too far especially in winter. Tries to be independent as possible however does not always realize things he should be doing or not. Lives with family who are working during the needed time. About the care needs: likes to talk. experience with elderly who have some memory and cognitive trouble. english speaking. knows when to be more assertive and how to go about it. be able to make suggestions and give guidance and reminders especially for matters of personal care. willing to be around dog and cats. know how to do laundry, work washer and dryer and clean up appropriately in general. can get light meals ready and make sure medication is taken. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
