My 55-year-old husband has primary progressive aphasia and dementia (including hallucinations, delusions, and paranoia). He can be a challenge at times, but with the right personality you will manage him just fine. We are in the process of figuring him out. He can do ADLs though he needs assistance starting the process. I set up his medication, he needs help taking them. He can feed himself, but he needs you to make it and put it on a plate for him. There may be some light housekeeping. He likes to go walking and he loves to not be stuck at home all day. He does like to help with chores as best he can. We also have a young cat and an old dog in the house.
