Needed ASAP:, Long term, experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to care for tracheotomy patient. Duties include: general daily patient care (washing up, dressing, changes throughout day); tracheotomy care including important breathing, respiratory monitoring and daily suctioning; experience with managing and administering medication is required; tidying up preparing meals; setting up medical appointments; addressing phone calls; close patient supervision. Providing companionship and social interaction. If needed live-in option available with rent and expenses (utilities, food) shared. Training can be provided to right individual. Position is contracted through Masshealth via Tempus with biweekly online direct deposit payroll. Caregiver should be a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
