Be a support person to a gentle and intellectual older adult with early-stage Alzheimer's Disease. He is a former professor who loves reading, playing board games (like scrabble), going on walks, and visiting bookstores and cafes. We are looking for a dependable, flexible, and proactive individual with a sense of humor who will respect his desire for autonomy. We are looking for a skilled cook who can prepare healthy meals. We are looking for someone to cover two morning shifts per week (4-hours long, exact timing flexible) and do some short evening check-in (about one hour long). We are happy to hire two different people to cover all of these hours. Services include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, laundry and housekeeping, ensuring hygiene, and providing companionship.
