Significant help needed with getting her up and dressed in the morning, preparing for bed in the evening, using the toilet etc. Responsibilities include some help preparing meals, ensuring she takes her meds, very light housekeeping (cleaning dishes, cleaning up spills etc.). Full instructions will be provided. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion who is experienced in assisting the elderly especially those with aphasia (difficulty speaking) and dementia. Essential that you enjoy getting outside and walking 1-2 miles with her each day and are comfortable with her one cat. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, and CPR / first-aid trained.
