About who needs care: Mom has Dementia, Alzheimers and aphasia Exhibiting anxiety and fear (survivor, PTSD) Elderly Husband can no longer groom or care for her hygiene (he has congestive heart failure and weakness) Mom has one bad knee replacement and fatigues easily but enjoys outside. She likes to sing and color. She was a teacher and care provider and loves children and dolls. Shes very social and friendly despite not always being able to speak. Song-song can activate her speech pathways and sometimes get responses. About the care needs: Patience with anxiety and fear. Firm, gentle coaxing to get the grooming done. Maybe having mom bring dolls into the shower for mom to care for the doll would help get her in there. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
