Seeking Caregiver/Companion In Port Allen

A caregiver is needed for a 67 yr old paraplegic female that drives her own vehicle and is extremely independent. She is in need of a companion to run errands, assist her in keeping her home tidy, help her get in out of her wheelchair, assist with bathing and dressing, prepare some meals, and do weekly laundry. Although this client is very active and independent, her caregiver must take into consideration that she is 6 ft tall and weighs over 200 lbs. She's also a former athlete. A ceiling lift is available to help get her in out of bed, however, she's very capable of using a transfer board with minimal assistance from her companion. She believes her ideal Caregiver will understand his or her role and responsibilities, operating as a respectful and needed member of her extended family. She owns a 17 yr old cat. No smoking, please
