Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother-in-Law In New Orleans

About the job

Need someone for the weekend, twice a day, once in the morning and again in the evening. 4-5 hours per day. Could become a more consistent position if you'd like. About who needs care: Best described as like a 4-year-old. She can do her ADLs herself, but needs prompting, supervision, and help planning how to accomplish them. Uses a walker more for reassurance than any balance issues. Needs someone to provide structure to her day, otherwise she will watch TV the entire time. Originally from Arizona, she recently moved to New Orleans to be closer to family for everyone's benefit. She lives independently but near us. About the care needs: She would be more comfortable with a woman for bathing. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
