About who needs care: Stroke survivor in wheelchair with minimum use of left side. Needs assistance transferring. Patient can help but is fall risk. Otherwise, patient is independent in feeding and personal care. Prepare light breakfast and lunch. Light housework. Drive to appointments. Care and walking small dog. Three 10 hour shifts weekly. 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. One shift will be a weekend day, rotating Saturdays and Sundays. Weekdays can fluctuate and can be coordinated with coworker. Must be somewhat flexible. About the care needs: Trustworthy, Reliable, Consistent, Mild Mannered, Flexible. Non smoker. Must love dogs! Must drive patient and able to help in transferring. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
