About who needs care: Elderly, 103 yr old, petite female with dementia. Walks with walker, needs minimum assistance for ADL's. Requires constant supervision for safety, redirection, when confused and disoriented. Has osteoarthritis, scoliosis About the care needs: Knowledge of dementia and ability to redirect, understand illness, be patient, calm, engage person in activities. Assist person when needed, allowing opportunity for her participation. in daily activities and self care. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
