Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Lafayette

About who needs care: We are primarily interested in someone who would be able to stay with my mother for approximately 4 hours 3-5 days per week during the day and possibly someone 2-4 nights per week from 10:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. My mother recently had a heart attack and, in July, had hip surgery. When being cared for she largely needs someone to assist her with getting stuff that might be out of reach, getting to the bathroom, handing her her medication, and a person with whom to communicate. She is able to use a walker to get around, but is not especially steady with it. About the care needs: A person who presents as happy, likes listening to and telling stories. Enjoys kidding around. Services needed include: companionship.
