About who needs care: Greetings, Looking For Caretakers to assist with morning routine such as use of mobility devices from bed to wheelchair, then wheelchair to bathroom, breakfast/lunch prep, ensuring TV Shows like Dateline are playing, access to books etc. Additionally, Light Cleaning: bedroom, bathroom, laundry, kitchen & downstairs floor. We are looking for Morning Shift work/Afternoon Shift Work Monday thru Friday. Additionally, we are looking for non-recurring evening and weekend shift opportunities for candidates. About the care needs: On time for scheduled shifts. Communicate ahead of time for missed shifts for appointments & etc. Be willing to learn how to check blood sugar/administer insulin (will train). Be willing to learn how to operate an electronic Hoyer for transfers (will train). Non cigarette smokers (vaping outside only). House has two small Shih-tzus dogs (very friendly & hypo-allergenic) that are required to be let out periodically throughout the day. Daily/weekly cleaning routine of bedroom, bathroom, kitchen. All other areas of the home are maintained. Laundry pertains to any soiled linens & clothing daily and/weekly bedding changes. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
