About the job
We are looking for care for my step dad as he is coming to Baton Rouge for cancer treatmentl. He had a stroke 22 years ago and has left side paralysis. He has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is losing strength. We need someone who feels comfortable transferring him above all, but also would like someone who can help with his meal prep, laundry, and other daily tasks. Once in his wheel chair, he is pretty independent and is still very sharp mentally. We are looking for someone who can start with in 2 weeks and as he gets chemo, he may get weaker and we will be building a team of around the clock care. We are trying to fill several shifts throughout the week so currently there is flexibility in the schedule. We are willing to hire part time or full time hours. Pay based on experience.
