About the job
My Mom has only had three caregivers, so we're searching for someone who is a great fit and can stay with us for the duration. Someone who can be a friend, treat her respectfully and anticipate her needs. Who is empathetic, patient, attentive to detail, and a good listener. Who doesn't talk about her in the third person or see her as a list of tasks. We need someone we can depend on, who communicates clearly, and prioritizes honesty. Logistically, Mom needs assistance with mobility, toileting and showering, encouragement and assistance with physical activity, simple meals prepared, and very light housekeeping. We have a Sit-to-Stand Hoyer and a Charme rotating bed. She is only awake 6-8 hrs a day, and follows a schedule. Must be Covid vaccinated, punctual, and very comfortable with animals we have dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and goats.
