About who needs care: She's had a stroke that effects her right side of her body her speech was affected also she can't stand on her own needs assistance getting dressed and getting out of bed she's in a wheelchair can't use the bathroom wears depends can feed herself with her left hand we put a towel on her like abib she can drink liquid also food has to be cut up like you would a baby she tries to talk to you but it's gibberish every body is nany lol we can understand some things she likes certain things that's about all she will eat activities include watching videoing on the phone to people she knows regardless if they can understand her or not she can't really tell you whenever she is peeing but will point towards her room wears she gets changed. She watches TV too she whant work out regardless how you try she's manly bed fast and wheelchair bound. RTEC. takes her to her doctors Apoements. It's a learning process with a Ade whenever we get one. She takes medication at 7:am an 7:pm iam just the son in law but I do more for her than anyone it's really taking a toll on my on health issues her family is a messed up bunch of people. Doesn't do anything to help me and my wife at all my wife is her daughter but she has some issues also she helps some. I do mostly all the cooking and going to the store because she doesn't drive iam responsible for taking care of everything keeping up with everyones insurance cards too talking with all the doctors to making appointments ordering supplies keeping up with the bills just everything. I need help About the care needs: They should be caring and patient and eager to learn about what mom needs she likes her nails painted but can be difficult at times must not give up she says no but means yes you have to ask her twice sometime Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
