About who needs care: Ideally someone would help her get out of bed, assist with changing of clothes, shower if needed, change the bed sheets, light housekeeping in kitchen area and maybe an easy breakfast meal prep. Possible run some laundry as needed. She has aphasia and that makes it hard for her to communicate . My dad would be there as well but he needs a break. Also someone a few evenings a week to help with the bedtime routine. Maybe an hour at a time is all thats needed. Possibly an hour and a half in the am. About the care needs: Strong enough to help her in and out of shower, shes in a wheelchair most of the time. Someone patient and with a good sense of humor helps. They have a dog so they need to be a dog person. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
