About who needs care: End stage cancer patient on hospice. Needs assistance with transfers, lifting, toileting. Wife is currently providing care with adult children helping. Needs are increasing and we need more consistent help. This will be a temporary need, but unknown length of time. Highest needs are in the morning and evening, but every day is different and needs are changing. About the care needs: We are looking for a kind, competent person who is comfortable with assisting a medically fragile adult with metastatic cancer. Lifting and transferring assistance is the highest need at this time, but needs are evolving. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
