Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Lexington

About who needs care: My father had small cell carcinoma. His optic nerve and hearing were severely damaged by brain radiation. He has spinal stenosis so chooses not to walk because of balance issues. He falls when tries to walk. Currently receiving physical therapy. He would need help to and from bathroom at night. My mother is physically ok but onset dementia and becomes confused at times. She is also a diabetic. Need supervision at time to keep them safe. About the care needs: Someone friendly and very patient. My parents are friendly and love to talk. My father gets scared/anxious when he can't figure out where he is at night. They are both fairly small. Both around 5'6" and weigh 150-160lbs. Mom may need juice at night if blood sugar drops but this is rare. My father loves history and reading. He listens to book on tape now. Both love music. Mom likes short walks and short trips to grocery. Love to talk and visit. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
