About who needs care: Mom has Parkinson's and just had surgery on a fractured femur. She is allowed to put weight on it. PT will be coming out and giving her therapy to try to build muscles to walk some and help transfer her. At this point, she can't help much at all. We have been caring for her and Dad for 2 years and we have to drive quite a bit. Dad is 91 and gets around well but we need to make sure he is eating well. About the care needs: Non smoker, sweet, trustworthy, kind, respectful and loves old people. Loves to hear old time stories and very patient. Honest is a BIG one. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
