About who needs care: Wesley is 35 years old with cerebral palsy. He's in a wheelchair and needs to be transferred to the bathroom and fed out of his chair at the table. I need recipe care. I work for the michelle p waiver from the governor which will pay up to 5 thousand dollars a year. Light house work after cleaning him up and meal preparation. He has no motor skills, but he's able to eat normally small portions. They're allowing me up to 21 dollars an hour. He weighs 85 pounds. There will be some transferry to the bathroom. But he can stand and use the bathroom with you. How do ring him? And he has a grab bar. And he can sit down on the toilet by himself, but you have to clean him up. You'll have to clean him up after his meal. And brush his teeth. Change his shirt if it gets dirty. About the care needs: My son has cerebral palsy. He's in a wheelchair, the only skill you would have to have is feed him in small pieces and transfer him to the bathroom. Generally, watch him and clean him up if he gets dirty or has to go to the bathroom. He stays in his own room. You might have to turn his t v on. He'll already have a shower that morning. So all he has to have is a clean up and brush his teeth before I come back. Like I said this is respite for like two evenings a week Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
