Companion Care Needed For My Wife In Elizabethtown

We are looking to hire a part-time caregiver for a 70-year-old female patient who is bedbound and has advanced Alzheimer's disease. The client, a retired homemaker and telephone operator, has been married for 51 years and has three children and grandchildren. The ideal candidate should possess patience and kindness. The work schedule may vary weekly due to the availability of family caregivers; however, if two part-time caregivers are employed, a consistent schedule could be established. The total hours per week will be approximately 20, primarily involving companionship and assistance with eating and drinking. Currently, the client resides in a nursing and rehabilitation facility in Hardin County, but she is expected to return home under care in the coming weeks or months, at which point the employment will transition to home.
