About who needs care: sandy needs help w/ transfers to toilet and off. companionship. stroke has left her unable to walk. right-side has no feeling. she tends to slope toward the right. no feeling on right. needs to be prodded to sit up... I'm to have total knee replaced so won't be able to help, except verbally. About the care needs: strong for assisting transfers. she weighs 100lbs., but tends to kick right foot out when sitting back down from toilet or wheelchair. I am her total support group-no nearby help available. again, no balance. pons area stroke in'93. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
