About who needs care: My Mother had a recent trip to ED due to high blood pressure. She also has diabetes type 2 and uses insulin And hypothyroidism. She has been on BP and thyroid pills for years and insulin for a couple years. I live in NC. I noticed she is getting very forgetful. I want someone to assist with medication management and assess her skills with self insulin injections I wasn't sure if this is a service you provide. If not can you recommend what agency I need to contact About the care needs: Someone who works well with lonely seniors and is very patient when they become agitated. My mom says "There is nothing wrong with my brain. It's just medical problems. She doesn't think she needs assistance with her meds but I visited her for a week and did not see her take them and she doesn't have a good system set up for her to figure out if she has taken them or not. My6 brothers and sisters agree she needs some professional intervention, assessment and assistance with her medication management.
