Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In West Baden Springs

About who needs care: My mother has early stage dementia. The family will be providing care Sunday through Thursday. We are looking for a care giver to provide support on Fridays and Saturdays. Primarily in getting her up in late morning, 11 a.m. is the best, and providing breakfast and lunch. It would be optimal for some form of engagement. Be it puzzles or other activities. Daily medication would be handled by family members. About the care needs: We are looking for someone who understands the basic and advances needs from someone with dementia. Our mother is able to complete most common tasks but needs encouragement and reminders to take care of certain tasks. The care provider should be able to assist Mom in preparing meals and taking care of basic hygiene. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
