About who needs care: I have multiple sclerosis and am confined to a power chair. I struggle with transfers. Showering is very difficult since it requires a transfer in water! And there are just so many things around the house that I want to do, but simply cannot and have banged up the house quite a bit, trying! About the care needs: I am looking for someone who obviously is strong! And can lift me if necessary. I am looking for someone who is OK with my inabilities, my embarrassing needs. I am looking for someone who is strong to deal with my emotional struggles, can handle a lot of tears. But also someone who can laugh! I like to laugh! Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
