About the job
Seeking hands-on support to take care of a kind, good-natured elderly female family member with dementia. ~25-30 hours a week. Role would involve supporting activities of daily living (ADLs), providing companionship, conducting light housework, and preparing light meals. Role may involve occasional errands and transportation to appointments. This will be an ongoing (not temporary position). Schedule may vary, but will be weekdays with some occasional weekend and evening work. Looking for someone who is caring, compassionate, patient, and reliable, with senior care experience. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
