Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Mooresville

About who needs care: the main issue is she is unable to walk and her core and arm muscles are weakening. She enjoys game shows and westerns but has lost interest in reading and working puzzles. She suffers from depression/anxiety. She usually gets up around 9 am, has small breakfast and watches TV, does some physical therapy but really needs to be pushed into doing it. About the care needs: Someone who is kind/gentle but can playfully push her to do therapy and other things. Strong enough to lift her using a gait belt to transfer her from bed to the wheelchair, to the recliner and toilet. Someone willing to go through her workout routine with her and help her shower/get dressed. Mom doesn't smoke but Dad does, he has smoked inside the house for over 40 years so a care giver would have to be able to tolerate the smell of smoke. We are hoping to have someone get her out of bed in the morning, bring her oatmeal or something simple for breakfast, go thru a stretching and strengthening routine, shower her a couple of times a week, prep a simple lunch, etc. Approx 9 a.m. to 1 or 2 p.m. a few days a week, preferably week days. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
