We are interviewing for companion care for my 91 yo father who we recently moved from memory care. It's been tough on him, and he is needing companion care for re-directing and engagement (during the day, puzzles, activities like testing markers, walks, and conversation; during the evening we need someone to sit by his door and walk with him/redirect him back to bed when he awakens.) He is physically able/mobile, healthy with the exception of his poor memory. We are looking for reliable, compassionate, non-smokers, full and part-time, experienced with relating to persons with dementia.
