About the job
About who needs care: Immobile, incontinent (wears diaper), heavy to lift (dead weight) , refusing treatment for bladder cancer. He mostly watches Tv so I will place his hospital bed in the living room. He likes to show pics of his family and watch news and videos. He loves dogs if you have a cuddly dog to bring along. He will need help staying clean, appointments ( which may not be too frequent), general care and meal assistance. My mom is in the home but can only offer very limited assistance with meals and meds. My brother and his wife keep house clean, and take my mom to her appointments and grocery shopping. I know your services will be daily but Im unsure if you can do an AM, noon , night split based on meal and diaper changes:cleaning him up would be ideal rather than a whole block of time. 1 1/2 per time if that is doable. About the care needs: My Dad loves to joke and show his funny videos and tell stories. He LOVES dogs if you have one to visit sometimes or every noon time. He was in the Army for 30 years. We want someone who is patient, strong, and used to people set in their ways as we navigate this time. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
