About the job
About who needs care: Looking for a companion to visit my mom. Her memory is not good, but she can communicate well. She lives in a nursing home, so she does not need help with toileting, bathing etc., the staff there will take care of those needs. Would like the person to play games, read with her, take her to planned activities being held in the facility, etc. Anything to enrich her day. About the care needs: Someone who is caring and is a good conversationalist. I think an older person that my mom can relate to would be better. Someone who speaks English well, my mom has trouble understanding people with a heavy accent. She loves to read mystery novels and watch TV shows that are mystery related/crime related. Services needed include: companionship.
