Janette is a vibrant-at-heart 90-year-old whose bodily ailments keep her up at night. Looking for night-shift caregivers to work from 9 or 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Main duties are that of a companion. Nursing home is in charge of helping her to the bathroom/changing her in bed but caregiver may need to assist when nurses are unavailable. She is very restless at night due to restless leg syndrome and lymphoedema. Caregiver needs physical strength to lift her legs gently in and out of bed as well as knowledge of correct lifting techniques in and out of wheelchair. Janette is evangelistic, eccentric, and entertaining. She cares deeply for her family and loves music, singing, and drawing. Caregiver might be prepared for ill-tempered outbursts and a demanding nature when patient feels anxious, exhausted, or misses home.
