About who needs care: Alcohol induced dementia... business man dealing with commercial rentals... alcoholic but doctor enforcing not to drink.... last day of alcohol Aug 27 until now.. in nursing home currently but thinking of coming home with care... likes old westerns... likes attention at the same time is independent bachelor his whole life.. needs exercise to get his strength back... needs encouraged to do exercises... can be stubborn.... like tech stuff but realizing it's harder now with memory impaired... sometimes gets days and nights mixed up... need routine established to get him back on track. About the care needs: He can be relatable to either male or female... I would say a variety would be ok if more than one comes throughout week.. he likes talking guns and ammunition.. he likes sports or at least watches football and westerns ... personality needs to be someone who can stand firm and not be taken advantage of if asked to drive him or get him alcohol... he can be sly or conniving at times if he wants something. Computer skills or iPhone skills would be helpful because he needs help with that now that his memory has been damaged. They need to be trustworthy for sure! He would need someone to be sure he takes his meds daily. I would have to talk with them to be sure right fit! Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
