About who needs care: My mom has multiple myeloma. She isn't mobile. She has a wheelchair and a walker. But it's hard for her to stand and walk due to weakness and pain. She is living with my 88-year-old dad. Right now, he's doing what he can for her, but it's getting to be too much for him. About the care needs: My parents live in Zion, il. They are on Medicare, so we (my sister and I) are looking for an affordable way to help them at their home. My mom is pleasant most of the time, but can get confused and a bit cranky sometimes. She needs to be helped transferring from one place to another. Trips to appointments in Kenosha and back home would be helpful (usually 1 or 2 per week). Various tasks may be helping with taking meds, possible errands, someone for her to talk to, helping her to the bathroom, some physical therapy, etc. Services needed include: transportation.
