About who needs care: I'm a patient. I might need minor surgery and will require help and a supervisory companion for approximately 24 hours after procedure.
I will not know until I'm there July 9, what, if any surgical procedures. I am required by the hospital to have someone stay with me.
About the care needs: Playful, humorous. Some post operative care, mainly to be aware of complications from anesthesia.
Hotel is two blocks from hospital, with shuttles.
Companion mainly, cards, cribbage. Overnight, but guest bed is in hotel room.
Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
